Today we’d like to introduce you to Jennifer Balcos.
Jennifer, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
After five years of successful performance as an Atlanta art broker and selling art out of my home I struck out the Fall of 2019 to start my very own art gallery in the heart of Buckhead. I am considered an American Art Advisor specializing in contemporary art with a small division in the Secondary Market Art business. I bought my first important art piece at the age of 19 and have been obsessed with fine art since then! Atlanta seemed natural for me as I already had great relationships with the local emerging and mid-career artists. A passion for art & business led to an easy opening.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has been a very smooth ride due to the fact that all of our artists are so talented! I could not do it without them. We can only get better from here! We have had a fantastic start. The Gallery scene is moderately small in Atlanta, so sometimes that can be a struggle. The artist that we have onboard are indeed the life blood of the business!

JENNIFER BALCOS GALLERY is committed to exhibiting outstanding and groundbreaking contemporary art in a variety of media by established and emerging artists. Owner Jennifer Balcos focuses on building relationships with artists, collectors, curators and critics from around the country and abroad.
