Aude Herlédan Biography
Aude Herlédan is a contemporary French painter and sculptor.
Her work encompasses a wide range of styles, including modernist abstraction, minimalism, and abstract expressionism. A great traveler, Aude has lived in Brazil, Kenya (where she worked for the United Nations), London, and Paris. All of these experiences and encounters have inspired her work.

Her main sources of inspiration are literature, poetry, the masters of the 20th century, and the abstraction found in African art. She plays with materials, forms, and colors. Her poetic compositions, of great visual intensity, are both precise and free in their gesture. Her paintings are like worlds unto themselves—landscapes of the soul that invite us to daydream. Vibrant, sometimes joyful and radiant, sometimes more melancholic, they express the full range of emotions and the richness of sensations… a powerful and inspiring universe.
Born in Paris in 1966, a graduate of the École Estienne and a prizewinner of the Parsons School competition in New York, Aude became a creative director in an advertising agency while studying at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris and the École du Louvre. During these years, she continued to express herself artistically through painting and sculpture.
Since 2010, her work has been exhibited in major international contemporary art fairs and events. Aude Herlédan currently lives in Paris and Brittany, where she has her studios. Her work is represented in Paris by the 1831 Art Gallery and by nine other international galleries (Palm Beach, San Francisco, Los Angeles, etc.), including Rosenberg & Co. in New York. Her works are also shown at leading international contemporary art fairs and events (Art Paris, BRAFA, Moderne Art Fair, Salon du Dessin, Fine Art – Biennale Paris, TEFAF, etc.). Her work is followed by collectors, curators, and designers from all five continents.
